Building a Better Birthplace
One of the major projects the Grover Cleveland Birthplace Memorial Association has begun is the construction of a modern visitor's center surrounding the current carriage house.
The Birthplace hosts approximately 6,000 visitors per year, but the site can only accommodate a limited number of visitors at any one time. The visitor's center will allow the Birthplace to host larger school groups, be a home to historical seminars, and be a resource for the entire community.
At the 2013 annual meeting, an architectural presentation was made, and followed important site preparation work, including an archeological survey.
The architectural presentation is available here.
