One of the major projects the Grover Cleveland Birthplace Memorial Association has begun is the construction of a modern visitor’s center surrounding the current carriage house.
The Birthplace hosts approximately 6,000 visitors per year, but the site can only accommodate a limited number of visitors at any one time. The visitor’s center will allow the Birthplace to host larger school groups, be a home to historical seminars, and be a resource for the entire community.
At the 2013 annual meeting, an architectural presentation was made, and followed important site preparation work, including an archeological survey.
